- I've been snowed in for three days. I've had plenty of time to revise, but now I have another excuse to wear pajamas all day. I'll have to wear real clothes and make-up again soon. But not today.
- I've found my blogging/writing balance. This means conversing with you magnificent people only two times a week, but my writing time has doubled. Can someone frown and smile at the same time?
- Two words: Snickerdoodle cookies.
- I'm reading Joanna Philbin's The Daughters Join the Party. I wanted to dislike it because I figured she landed an agent and publisher because of her famous father (snarky, I know), but I actually like it.
- I can't believe I have nearly 300 followers on Google Friend Connect. You guys rock!

My Irish self has never even HEARD of Snickerdoodle cookies, but I sure wouldn't mind being snowed in with some.
You're right to cut down on blogging. It's fun, but time consuming. There come times when you need to cut back on it, like reducing socialising in your final year at college.
Your revisions are far more important than blogging so stick with it. If you find time, stop by my blog (sorry the post is soooo long) but I am hosting my first blogfest ever and have some really great prizes. I am hoping that friends like you can help me spread the word. I am glad you are having a productive year. I have the same issue that you do-I am gtting far too comfortable working from home in my pajamas.

I love a good snow day, as long as I don't have to cancel any patients. Sounds like you're making the most of yours! Good luck with your revisions. And--it looks like you need to offer forth a recipe for snickerdoodles for your non-American readers. They don't know what they're missing!

I love this post, but feel very sad for the people who don't know what snickerdoodles are! Who knew it was a local cookie? I think someone needs to post a good recipe for all these people to try.

That's one of the things I loved about living in New England--being snowed in for two or three days. It was great. Kick up the fireplace, read a good book, enjoy the scenery, shovel the driveway (ugh), wondering what the rest of the world was doing.
Yep - I used to do five days or more a week. Now I do three. It suits me.
I also write up posts way ahead of time (for some things) and I really love having choices of posts to put up depending on my mood for the day.
My husband and I went out into 45 mph wind last night to shovel the snowdrifts off our driveway, knowing they'd be back this morning, but also knowing that if we didn't - no one was going anywhere and after a four day weekend, my children HAD to be back in school.
Also. I love the look of your blog. Very simple. Very cool. And I think I've said that before, but I'm sayin' it again anyway.
Sounds a lot like my recent days, only I'm telling my kids to settle down. They're bouncing off the walls!

Oh, Snickerdoodles. Another nemesis of mine. I hate the cold, but sometimes I love being stuck inside in my pajamas. Lazy days are the best! :)
I've tried to keep it down (by 'it' I mean 'writing.' What'd you think I meant?) to only a couple times a week. I think I'm close to that, but I can't resist reading and commenting on posts. This does take up a fair amount of my day.
Which leaves me precious little time for that other 'it.'
Although you'll never hear Mrs. Penwasser complain.
