What's New? Wednesday

My 2011 Tulips
Hi, peeps! Here's what's new:
  • I signed up for LDS Storymakers Conference. YAY! If you're going, look for a huge pregnant lady. It'll be me.
  • Chantele Sedgwick has signed a two book deal! Check out the details here.
  • My husband and I would like to move closer to his new job, but the housing market sucketh. Stay tuned for a miracle.
  • Reading on my Kindle Fire is fantastic. I thought "flipping" virtual pages would be weird, but it isn't. However, I do miss the black smudges on my hands from blitzing a book in one day. The ink spots were a badge of honor.
  • My tulips are coming up! They're at least 6 weeks away from blossoming, but the sight of them is a reminder that warmer weather is on the horizon. I'm sooo ready for spring.
What's new with you? Are you making the most of your extra day this leap year?

Aw, I didn't know you were having a baby! Congrats!

I wish the weather here in CT would make up its mind. Some days it's like spring, and I'm dying for those spring flowers, and then out of the blue, it snows!

I love writing conferences - I'm going to one in Sept. Have fun at yours!

Those tulips are lovely. We recently bought some new plants/flowers - the hibiscus are gorgeous! - hopefully, they will live and grow despite me tending them. :)

Congrats on being hugely preggers!
I love the e readers too, but still keep a good stock of books. An e reader in the bathtub could electrocute me.

I'm so jealous you're going to Storymakers! You have to come see me while you are here anyway. :)

And good luck on the house hunting. I'll be doing a voodoo ritual and chant for you. I'll send it via email. :)

Lovely tulip.
We are house shopping also to be closer to the hubby's job, and yes the market aint so great. It seems that if you don't want a short sale, you're out of luck. You may as well cross most of the homes off your list.

Good luck with your potential move. We moved not long ago, so I know how the housing market can be.

I keep hearing great things about the Kindle Fire, so I might have to drop a hint to family that I want one next Christmas.

Peaches, good luck with your house hunt!

Madeline, have fun at your writer's conference, too!

Erin, if you're going to have the camera, then you may not see me. I don't want pictures taken of my four chins. : )

My mom has a Fire too, and loves it. She hardly uses her regular Kindle anymore (yeaaaah, she has BOTH). Wow, tulips already? Hard to believe, especially with all the rain coming down today here in Oregon. :D
