Pregnant Lady OUT

I'm having preterm labor, which is typical for me at this stage of pregnancy. I'm on light bed rest (and hope to keep it that way) for the next few weeks. Because I'M GOING TO LDS STORYMAKERS, I'm disappearing into a Zen-like state of relaxation for the time being.

Please excuse my absence on my blog. I function a million times better AFTER I deliver my babies. Preterm labor is exhausting.

Unless you hear otherwise, I'll see those of you who are attending Storymakers in less than three weeks. Yay!

Oh, and if you haven't signed up yet, check out the Oh, Those High School Dances! Blog Hop. It's going to be a riot!

  42. Ugh, pregnancy is so awful. Warm thoughts/prayers going out that everything happens at the perfect time. AND you can go to Storymakers w/o worrying about baby interruptions. :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. Good luck. Rest. I'll be here when you get back.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Stay in bed and enjoy the rest. I don't know about you, but when I was on bed rest I was miserable. I thought I was going to love it-being lazy and lounging around doing nothing, but reading and watching television. Maybe it was because I was on bed rest for my entire pregnancy.

Be careful and don't exert yourself. My triplets were micro preemies, they were so early and the doctor told me that every day that I was able to keep them inside the womb, was equivalent to one week outside.

Best wishes and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

  45. Get plenty of rest, Emily, and we'll see you when you return to your blog. Take care.

  58. Aw, best of luck Em. I can relate since I've been in your situation before. (pre-term labor/bed rest with all three of my kids) It's never a fun place to be. As a matter of fact, I can't fall asleep now, unless I'm on my left side, because I had gotten so used to sleeping like that during my pregancies!

Wishing you well and a quick recovery. I always used to say about my high risk pregnancies, my kids were "better off out than in!" LOL

  59. Thankfully I was never forced into bed rest... Though I did have a couple of babies early... One 5 ewes and one 3 weeks... They came out fine and not looking premmie... So were they really early? None of us really know the answer to that.
    Rest well. Hugs
    Xx
